Hello Beautiful People! Welcome to my blog.
I created this digital space to talk about how hypnosis and coaching can help people who are struggling to move forward from anger. I hope the information you find here supports you on your own healing journey.
I named this blog The Screaming Teakettle because it perfectly captures what it feels like to hold onto anger and resentment after experiencing betrayal. A teakettle must release steam, or the pressure inside builds to the point of explosion—damaging the vessel and harming anyone nearby. In the same way, if we don’t find healthy ways to release our emotions, they can consume us and damage our relationships or leave us living miserable, unfulfilled lives. My goal with this blog is to help you let go of that mental and emotional pressure, find peace of mind, and build a life of contentment.

I know what it’s like to be filled with anger and resentment. For me, 2023 felt like a never-ending rainstorm. My mental health was spiraling, and the medication prescribed to help me wasn’t working. A scammer took thousands of dollars from me, promising to help me find clients for my hypnosis practice—money I never recovered. My weight climbed to nearly 400 pounds as I turned to emotional eating to cope. And then, my world shattered completely when I lost a close friend and her daughter in a tragic car crash.
Seeking a fresh start, I moved from San Francisco to Sacramento, believing I’d have family support, a place to stay, and the chance to rebuild. Instead, I walked straight into a web of manipulation and half-truths. What was promised turned out to be an illusion. I found myself homeless, jobless, and leaning on cannabis to numb my pain. I was completely destabilized.
But life has a way of pushing us toward change.
In 2024, I found stability—a job, a home, and a glimmer of hope. Yet, I realized something crucial: I was still carrying anger, and it was keeping me stuck. That moment of awareness was the beginning of my healing. I made the choice to stop being a prisoner of my past.
That choice led me here.

I became a life coach because I know how it feels to be told to “move on” without ever being taught how. Healing isn’t just about time passing—it’s about actively releasing what no longer serves us and reclaiming our power. Having navigated betrayal, resentment, and the road to mental and emotional peace, I am here to help others do the same.
If you’re struggling with letting go, if you feel like the pressure is building inside you with no release, know this—you are not alone. I hope the content in this blog serves you well. And if you ever need guidance on moving forward, I invite you to reach out.
With warmth and resilience,
Melody
